Biography
Michael is an associate at the firm’s Chicago office focusing his practice on toxic tort litigation. Before joining Swanson, Martin, & Bell, LLP, Michael was a criminal prosecutor for the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office. As an assistant state’s attorney, he worked in several divisions where he gained extensive experience prosecuting hundreds of misdemeanor and felony offenses, taking over 60 cases to trial. In addition, Michael authored appellate briefs and petitioned for numerous civil orders of protection.During law school at The John Marshall Law School, Michael participated in the Chicago Legal Clinic, Cook County Mortgage Foreclosure Mediation Program, and clerked in the Gang Crimes Unit at the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office.
