Biography
Michael P. Gerkin is an attorney in the firm’s Chicago office. He practices general litigation, but concentrates his practice in defending business in products liability actions, commercial disputes, and class actions. Michael also defends lawyers and professionals in professional malpractice actions.
Michael was a Summer Associate with the firm. Before joining full time, he clerked for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Central District of Illinois, advocated for children and parents in JA cases with the Family Advocacy Clinic in law school, and was a Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C.
