Weiler to Speak at Pincus Professional Education's Trial Record and Appeals Webinar

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partner Catherine Basque Weiler will speak in Pincus Professional Education’s “Preserving the Trial Record for Appeal in Illinois Civil Cases” webinar on July 18 and 20.

The two-part program will review the necessary steps to take before, during and after trial to ensure a successful appeal. Experienced appellate lawyers and a sitting appellate justice will also discuss how to preserve records and why it’s important, the potential pitfalls and common mistakes that are made during trial, post-trial motions, the appeals process and more.

Catherine Basque Weiler's practice encompasses trial litigation and appeals. She is the public appellate face of Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, and has an impressive resume of results before tribunals throughout the country. She vigorously represents clients in state and federal trial courts through all phases of litigation, from case inception through trial, primarily defending legal malpractice and commercial, product, and premises liability claims.
