Monaco Addresses Rear-End Collisions at Brain Injury Litigation Conference

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner Anthony J. Monaco will present a case study on "A Rear-End Collision, Seat Back Strength, Skull Fractures & Brain Injuries" at the American Conference Institute's Premier Summit on Brain Injury Litigation.

For this session of the conference, Monaco and his fellow presenters will discuss the accident, the injury, and the postcare treatment including the involvement by the plaintiff ’s attorney. National expert neuropsychologists, neuropsychiatrists, life care planners, economists, vocational rehab experts, and neurologists will also be thoroughly evaluated in their scope and added value to case management and litigation strategy. The defense will also present its case on causation and damages. Topics include:
 
  • Gathering key evidence
  • Understanding the injury
  • Examining proximate cause
  • Experts in your case: treating physicians and school teachers vs. damages experts such as neuropsychologists, neurosurgeons, neuropsychiatrists, life care planners, and vocational rehabilitation experts.
The 2013 Brain Injury Litigation Conference will occur March 14-15, 2013 at The Union League in Philadelphia. At Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Monaco serves as Vice-Chair of the firm’s Product Liability Practice Group and focuses his practice on the defense of corporations in catastrophic injury litigation.
