Keating Named Double Goal Coach Award Finalist
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner Richard J. Keating was named a finalist for the Positive Coaching Alliance’s (PCA) 2013 Double Goal Coach Award, presented by Liberty Mutual Insurance.
According to the PCA website, Keating is one of 50 finalists nationally who embodies the Double Goal Coach model of striving to win, while also teaching life lessons through sports. Finalists were nominated by school or youth sports organization leaders, fellow coaches, parents, athletes, friends or family members.
Keating has served as a coach of youth sports for over 20 years. Currently he serves as a coach, General Counsel and Director of Bylaws and Dispute Resolution for the Oz Park Baseball Association. He is also a head basketball coach at Immaculate Conception Grade School.
