Kocour Elected to Membership in American Board of Trial Advocates
Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP Partner Patricia S. Kocour has been elected to the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA).
ABOTA is a national association of experienced trial lawyers and judges dedicated to preserving and promoting the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. ABOTA works to uphold the jury system by educating the American public about the history and value of the right to a trial by jury.
Membership to ABOTA is by invitation only. Kocour has spent much of her legal career defending hospitals, physicians, physician groups, nursing agencies and other healthcare practitioners against claims of medical malpractice.
