Rogers, Lengerich Win Summary Judgment Motion in Medical Negligence Action

After assignment to a Cook County trial judge, William J. Rogers and Valerie C. Lengerich won a contested summary judgment motion on behalf of a physician in a multi-defendant medical negligence action regarding plaintiff’s leg amputation.

Taking the lead for the defendants, Rogers and Lengerich argued there was a lack of proximate cause between the defendants’ alleged negligence and plaintiff’s leg amputation. The court agreed, entering summary judgement in favor of all defendants.
