Wehrman Serves as Bank of America Chicago Marathon Radio Broadcaster

Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP partner Christopher D. Wehrman will be an expert analyst for the 2018 Bank of America Chicago Marathon’s live radio broadcast on 670 The Score Sports Radio owned and operated by Entercom Communications.

Wehrman will provide elite athlete commentary on the men’s marathon, riding in an official Chicago Marathon vehicle ahead of the elite athletes throughout the race. Live radio coverage will be available from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. on 670 The Score and on the Radio.com App. Runners expected to compete in the 2018 men’s race include last year’s top three finishers, including winner Galen Rupp.

A former elite runner himself, Wehrman will offer commentary based on his many years of involvement in the running community. With a marathon personal record of 2:17:50, he qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the marathon for the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. Wehrman was an All-Big Ten Conference runner in cross country and track at Michigan State University, where he received undergraduate, graduate and law degrees. Now retired from professional competition, he currently serves as a Nike+ Run Club Coach, co-founder of RunBetterApp, endurance coach at EDGE Athlete Lounge, and previously served as president of the Chicago Area Runners Association.

“I look forward to utilizing my own personal marathon running experience to illustrate to radio listeners what this year’s leaders may be experiencing throughout the race,” says Mr. Wehrman.

At Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Wehrman represents clients in Family Law matters.
