Wehrman, Former Olympic Trials Marathon Competitor, Returns as Bank of America Chicago Marathon Radio Broadcaster

Partner Christopher D. Wehrman will once again be an expert analyst for the 2019 Bank of America Chicago Marathon’s live radio broadcast on 670 The Score Sports Radio owned and operated by Entercom Communications.

Wehrman will provide elite athlete commentary on the men’s marathon, riding in an official Chicago Marathon vehicle ahead of the elite athletes throughout the race. Live radio coverage will be available from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on 670 The Score and on the Radio.com App. Elite runners expected to compete in the 2019 men’s race include 2018 champion and four-time Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah and 2017 champion and 2016 Olympic marathon bronze medalist Galen Rupp.

A former elite runner himself, Wehrman will offer commentary for the second consecutive year based on his many years of involvement in the running community. With a marathon personal record of 2:17:50, he qualified for the U.S. Olympic Team Trials in the marathon for the 2004 and 2008 Olympics. Wehrman was an All-Big Ten Conference runner in cross country and track at Michigan State University, where he received undergraduate, graduate and law degrees. Now retired from professional competition, he serves as a Nike+ Run Club Coach, co-founder of RunBetterApp, endurance coach at EDGE Athlete Lounge, and previously served as president of the Chicago Area Runners Association.

“I am excited to return as an expert analyst and utilize my own personal marathon running experience to illustrate to radio listeners what this year’s leaders are experiencing during the race,” says Wehrman.

At Swanson, Martin & Bell, LLP, Wehrman represents clients in Family Law matters.
