Lena represents entrepreneurial clients in the technology and entertainment fields. She counsels on a variety of issues including corporate formation, intellectual property protection, consumer fraud, deceptive trade practices, consumer class actions, breach of contract, and execution of licensing, services and sales agreements. She enjoys advancing creative solutions to help clients navigate both the litigation and transactional aspects of their businesses.
Lena also litigates cases on behalf of physicians, hospitals, and other healthcare providers. She has experience in trial and mediation preparation, including managing all stages of written discovery, drafting pleadings, arguing motions, and taking depositions. Lena has first-chaired jury and bench trials in both federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Lena completed externships with the Offices of the Hon. Paul P. Biebel, Jr., Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division of Cook County and the Federal Public Defender for the Central District of Illinois.
